人力中心中文學校火災後重建募捐倡議書

尊敬的各位家長和社區朋友：
正如您所知，1月23日晚一場突如其來的五級大火把座落在華埠70號茂比利街4樓和5樓的人力中心中文學校燒毀，學校所有的教育教學材料、課本練習本和辦公設備用品等都在大火中化為灰燼，無一倖存，學校大樓由此被燒成了危樓，全校600多學生頓失校園！大火無情，人間有愛！感謝中華海外宣道會及時伸出援助的手，接納中文學校到貴址繼續辦學，使學生重新獲得場所繼續中文學習。春季學期得以在2月15日如期開學。然而，學校重建的路仍然困難重重，損失的財物不可複原，學校急需額外的經費來購買必需的物品恢復運作。在此，我們倡議，資助中文教育，獻出您的愛心，請為人力中心中文學校繼續辦學慷慨解囊，無論數額大小，都是您的慈心善意，以實際行動支援人力中校度過難關，重新上路！接受現金或支票捐款，請學生和家長把捐款直接交給各班老師。社區朋友請將捐贈支票週六交到中文學校(154 Hester Street, Room 707, New York, NY 10013);或寄至：CMP Chinese School, 123 Walker Street, New York, NY 10013. 支票抬頭請寫：CMP Chinese School. 謝謝您！
Dear Parent/Guardian & Community Friends:
CMP Chinese School at 70 Mulberry Street 4th & 5th Floors, was devastated by a 5-alarm fire on January 23rd evening. The raging fire destroyed entire Chinese School and office space, all school equipment and supplies, class materials, and important files. Thanks to Overseas Chinese Mission (OCM) Church for providing a place to Chinese school, 600 students can continue their Chinese learning. The Spring semester has begun on February 15th as scheduled. However, the road to school recovery is still difficult and challenge, and additional funds are needed to ensure that the school resumes operation. Please donate to CMP Chinese school and support the school to better recover and to continue providing quality Chinese education to the community. Your kindness and generosity will be greatly appreciated. Cash or check donation is accepted. Please give the donation to each class’s teacher directly. Or you can bring the check to Chinese School at 154 Hester Street Room 707, New York, NY 10013 on Saturdays; or mail your donation check to CMP Chinese School, 123 Walker Street, New York, NY 10013. Please make a check payable to CMP Chinese School. Thank you!
