Audits vs. EvalUATIONS vs. Learning

In the strictest sense, Conservation Auditing can only answer key learning questions related to the processes of program design and adaptive management. Only Conservation Evaluation can contribute to answering questions related to “What is working and what isn’t and why?” Learning Analyses gather information from multiple projects or programs to answer key questions with broader impact on organizational effectiveness.  The table below provides additional detail on the differences among conservation audits, evaluations, and learning.
