We used our new maker skills to Make personal journals that expressed our identity. Students used the skills they learned from the Identity Artifact and applied them to something meaningful and personal. Journals can be used to collect personal narratives and other artifacts that explore and shape student identity throughout the year. The journals were strategically created to use regular sized copy paper as the signature so they can easily be refilled. Due to time constraints we kept our journal simple, but beautiful. With additional time the journals could be enhanced with various elements such as ties, bookmarks, pockets, and even lights.
