By plane

• The nearest domestic airport is Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport in Durgapur. 

• The nearest international airport is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata. 

• From Durgapur or Kolkata, you can take a train or bus to Bolpur and then follow the instructions above.

By bus

• Buses are also available from various locations to Bolpur. 

• From the bus stand in Bolpur, you can take local transport to reach Visva Bharati.
