Climate Adaptation Support Activity (CASA). Creation of Climate Risk Profiles with Tetra Tech for USAID. I serve as the PI on the project working on a larger project team with 3 faculty members from the SSJ and Geography Department, a full-time project manager, and 6 SSJ graduate students.

My latest publication is with recent graduate student, Victoria Beyer.  After completing the undergraduate Research Methods course (ID 132) with me in Fall 2019, Victoria designed her own research project on "gender and mushing'.  Victoria recruited and interviewed all research participants in Summer 2020.  I served as Victoria's supervisor across the research process.

I did not take an active, writing role in the project until December 2020, when I started to help her situate her results in the scholarship on gender and the outdoors. Victoria chose to send our manuscript to a journal that uses a double-blind, peer-review process, which is the most rigorous process there is.  After two sets of revisions, the article will be available online in February 2022.
