Edmonds Landing, Edmonds (EL) is in an interesting spot geographically speaking. It lies between the locations of Clearwater Jct as seen on the former MILW, now BNSF, timetable and the town of Clearwater proper. All trains on the Clearwater Industrial originate from this yard. The shops of the railroad, the B. Dirks Service Facility are located here and the BNSF usually drops cars every other day for both Clearwater and Seeley Lake. BNSF arrives well after the operating crew of the Clearwater Industrial have finished their days work. The railroad donated and manages the Dan Thorn Park which is popular with local families and railfans alike. An original CSLP caboose from the heck roarin' logging days was preserved, restored in the railroads shops and placed on display in the park.
Edmonds Landing is three primary tracks and two shop tracks. Track 1 is the designated interchange location for southbound (BNSF) traffic. If cars are needed to go north they will be placed here. Usually power is simply wyed at Clearwater Jct and the traffic placed on Track 2. Track 3 is a classification and overfilltrack. The engine house track, Track 4, is protected by a derail and can be used when switching although the shop crews don't like it much. Track 5 is the general shop track. RIP services can be performed here and the fuel pump and sand tower can be found here.
