A monthly online seminar to try and keep up with cluster developments
Welcome to the website of the Cluster Colloquium!
Starting on February 2025, at 16:00 UTC of the second Thursday of every month, we will have guest speakers who will deliver one-hour online talks on current research topics related to cluster algebras and cluster varieties.
Abstract. I will discuss the topology of the real and complex cluster varieties, and the behavior of cluster varieties over finite fields. These questions are related to a range of topics, including q,t-Catalan theory, knot invariants and knot homology, connected components of real double Bruhat cells, Tutte polynomials, and so on. My goal is to draw a parallel between cluster varieties and the well-studied case of hyperplane arrangement complements.
The talk is based on joint work with Pavel Galashin, and with David Speyer.
