CluePhone: Detective Game Effective date: August 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CluePhone ("the app", "we") handles information when you use the CluePhone: Detective Game iOS application.
CluePhone does not require you to create an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal details to play the game. Your game progress is stored locally on your device.
The app uses a small number of third-party services that collect limited data automatically:
Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics). We collect anonymous usage events — for example which screens are opened, which cases are started or completed, and general device information (device model, iOS version, app version, country-level region, and a random app-instance identifier). We use this only to understand how the game is played and to improve it. These events do not include your name or contact details.
Push notifications (OneSignal). If you allow notifications, a push token and a random device identifier are processed by OneSignal so the app can send you notifications (for example when new content is available). You can withdraw permission at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications.
Purchases (Apple and RevenueCat). Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. RevenueCat, our subscription-management provider, receives an anonymized app-user identifier and purchase receipt information from Apple in order to unlock your subscription across app launches.
Content delivery (Google Firebase Storage). The app may download new game cases from our servers. This is a plain file download; no personal data is uploaded.
We do not sell your data.
We do not show third-party advertising.
We do not access your real messages, photos, contacts, or any other personal content on your phone. Every "phone" you explore in the game is entirely fictional and built into the game.
We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Analytics data is retained in aggregated form and is not used to identify you. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or similar laws), you may have rights to access or request deletion of data associated with your device identifiers. To exercise these rights, or to ask any question about this policy, contact us at the address below and we will pass the request to the relevant service (deleting the app also stops all collection).
CluePhone contains fictional crime and mystery themes and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we change this policy, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
