培力英檢為語言訓練測驗中心（LTTC）研發辦理的英語檢定，配合教育部110年推出「大專校院學生雙語化學習計畫」 ，本檢定針對國內大專校院學生研發的英語溝通能力進行檢測。
The Program on Bilingual Education for Students in College (BEST), developed and administered by the Language Training and Testing Center (LTTC), supports the Ministry of Education's "Bilingual Learning Program for College Students." Tailored for domestic college students, this test assesses student's English language capabilities.

除了能夠檢測學生英語文能力之外，本測驗亦可作為企業招募人才的英語文能力指標，評估學生在職場上和國際人士用英語文溝通的程度，或校內英語文學習成效評估，量化校內英語授課課程（EMI）的具體績效。廣泛用途以及免費報名費用(2024/3/4)，使其作為高度符合國內大專院校學生需求的英語文檢定。
In addition to assessing students' English proficiency, this test serves as an indicator of English language skills for talent recruitment by businesses.
