🐾 Welcome to Clover Patch Cottage! 🐾
Your dog’s home away from home.
I’m so excited to have your pup stay with me! To help make things smooth and stress-free for everyone, here’s everything you need to know before their stay.
🕒 Drop Off & Pick Up:
I kindly ask that all pet drop-offs and pick-ups be scheduled in advance. This helps me plan my day efficiently and ensures I can provide the best possible care and attention to every pet in my home.
Please text me at (615) 397-4980 when you are on your way for drop off and pick up with your ETA. This allows me to either secure other pets in the home while you are dropping off or have your pet ready for pick up.
✅ If your drop off or pick up time needs to change, please let me know ASAP so I can adjust my schedule.
🚙 Arrival:
When you arrive, feel free to park in the driveway or right behind it. If my garage door is not open, please text or call me at (615) 397-4980 — I’ll come out to meet you and help with unloading if needed.
My top priority is creating a safe, calm, and stress-free environment for every pet. To support this, I conduct all drop offs and pick ups outside. This policy helps minimize disruptions during transition times and ensures a smooth, peaceful experience for all pets in my care.
What to Pack for Your Dog
🦴 Food:
Please pack enough food to cover your dog’s entire stay, plus a little extra just in case of delays or spills. If possible, avoid bringing large bulk bags unless your pup is staying for an extended period. For convenience, I highly recommend pre-portioning each meal into individual bags or containers—this makes feeding time smoother and ensures your dog gets exactly what they need. That said, it’s not required, so do what works best for you! There’s no need to bring food or water bowls—I have plenty here and keep them clean and ready to go.
🍖 Treats (Optional):
Please bring treats if your dog has a sensitive stomach or allergies. Otherwise, I keep plenty on hand, and treats are not necessary to bring.
🛏️ Bed or Blanket:
Please do not bring blankets or bedding. I have plenty of cozy bedding and blankets available and would hate for yours to be destroyed by playful pups.
I have crates available in a variety of sizes for dogs who prefer or need to be crated. If you’d like your pup to be crated overnight or during short periods when I am out of the house, just let me know in advance so I can make them as comfortable as possible.
🧸 Toys:
I kindly ask that you leave your dog’s toys, bones, and chews at home. I have plenty of fun and engaging options here for everyone to enjoy! Personal items can easily get lost, damaged, or accidentally shared, and I’d hate for anything special to go missing. Depending on the group’s energy and play style each day, I may also need to remove toys for safety reasons.
💊 Medications (If Needed):
Please include any medications your dog will need during their stay. I prefer these to be in their original packaging with clearly labeled dosage and instructions. I’m happy to administer medications at no extra charge.
📋 Up-to-Date Vaccinations:
Please make sure I have a copy of your pup’s current vaccination records before their stay. These can be emailed to: vaccines@cloverpatchcottage.com
🪲 Flea & Tick Protection:
All dogs must be on flea and tick protection. If your pet is not currently protected every 30 days, please let me know so I can administer a Capstar tablet at the beginning of their stay. If needed, this will be an additional charge of $10.
📷 Updates & Photos:
I love sharing updates and photos, and I know how comforting it is to see how your pup is doing! I do my best to send updates regularly, but with days often filled with playtime, walks, and cuddles, time can slip by quicker than I expect. Feel free to text me anytime you’d like to check in—I’m always happy to share how your pup is doing.
