Week 5 Update

July 7, 2023

Three accomplishments:

1. I planned out five ArcGIS StoryMap narratives to make my research more engaging to interact with.

2. I successfully made a short 2D animation and 3D model using Pencil2D and Tinkercad, respectively. 

3. The five narratives I mention in my first point are some of the bigger takeaways from my research, which are, in turn, helping me narrow down what I want to read for my literature review/historiography. 

Three obstacles to completion of my best work:

1. Morning lectures were frustrating and not engaging this week. Each day felt like it started off on a different kind of bad foot.

2. Personal anxieties made this week difficult to get through without feeling overwhelmed and overstimulated. It was hard to focus all week.

3. I'm having a hard time finding time to read book reviews for my literature review/historiography. I need to find a way to manage my time better this upcoming week to finish this portion of the deliverable.

Three things I've learned:

1. How to animate map frames. 

2. How to animate 2D drawings and render 3D models on free applications.

3. The suggested standards for Week 8's deliverable.
