Summer Breakout Sessions: We recognize that these changes may require deeper discussion. Additional meetings will be scheduled in early summer to facilitate smaller-group dialogues and site-specific planning.

Reach out to all new students and provide contact information
Arrange clinical schedule for students to complete 24 hours per week
Teach students responsibilities of working technologist
Provide oversight and supervision to students in all clinical requirements (contained in student clinical logbook)
Ensure required competencies are met each semester and throughout the program
Provide timely, respectful feedback to students for each exam, for improved patient care, and throughout semester and programs
Monitor student progress and address any concerns with both the student and WSU faculty
Complete mid-semester evaluation of student progress
Complete end of semester evaluations and competency requirements
Provide respectful and professional feedback to students on image quality and clinical performance
Maintain professional conduct
Engage in clinical education and patient care opportunities at all times!
Be reliable and consistent with attendance and performance
Adhere to expected schedules and communicate any concerns or deviations to clinical instructor and WSU faculty
Respect the technologists you work with and adhere to their training requests
Manage all clinical logbook and documentation requirements
Communicate with your CI
Follow organizational policy - this may include the prohibition of cell phone use and restrictions in working with patients under correctional restrictions.
