The CleanAirNow Coalition is dedicated to improving air quality in Kansas City and the surrounding region, particularly in communities suffering the greatest health burden, and to preventing and mitigating disease caused by air pollution.

Our goal is to inform students about current environmental issues, and how they impact health. We discuss environmental ethics, how the changing planet will impact future generations and their health, and our responsibilities as health professionals to understand these changes in order to effectively care for our patients.

Our mission is to build resilience, optimism, and hope in response to the impact of the climate crisis, fueling the movement from the inside out. The Resilient Activist provides community, self-care, and nature-connected programming that supports emotional well-being and vital ecological change.
