ClimArt 3, co-funded by Erasmus+ Programme, is third step of a years long project using different artistic languages to raise awareness about Climate change.
From ClimART through art and theatre to ClimART 2.0 through comics and graphic novels, ClimArt 3 is born, to develop, transfer and implement innovative methodologies for learning about Climate Change through animation language.
goals
To achieve this overall goal, the following specific objectives were defined:
Promote the professional development of high school teachers by strengthening their skills to introduce the topic of climate change into high school curricula.
Strengthen the awareness of high school students through a high-quality international experience based on the development of comic books and graphic novels on climate change.
Strengthen the acquisition of key skills (science, arts, English language) in high school studies, including disadvantaged students.
The main outputs of the project are:
Guidelines manual for trainers/teachers on how to create a storyboard for animation.
Animation-based Guidelines for animation laboratories.
Tips and Hack manual on how to organise and direct your own laboratory on Animation in schools.
School animation.
The project runs for two years, from October 2024 to May 2026.
