Guess Who?!

One person is the ‘guesser’ and picks a favorite topic (such as favorite food/ favorite color/ favorite game) and leaves the room. The other players write down their answer on a dry erase board. The guesser comes back in when they’re ready and guesses who wrote what answer. (Or you can all stay in the room and write your answers on post-its, and one person collects the post-its to read the answers out loud for the guesser). The other players keep a straight face throughout the guessing process to not give away any answers. Use self-control and self-regulation. At the end of the guesser saying who wrote what answers, ask the other people to raise their hand if the guesser guessed their answer correct. See how many you guessed right and see how well you know each other. Take turns!

What’s Different?!

One person looks around at the other players and tries to remember where they are sitting. They leave the room and the other players switch seats, make changes, or do something silly. The person comes back into the room and uses language to describe the changes (prepositional phrases, who switched seats, who is holding something on top of their head, etc.) Take turns!

Pictionary

On a dry erase board or paper, players take turns drawing something and the other players guess what it is. Each player has about 2 minutes to draw their picture. Other players must wait until they’re done drawing, then raise their hand and wait to be called on for a turn to guess.

Hot Potato Questions

Players pass a ball around to music. When the music stops, whoever is holding the ball has to answer a question (favorite food/ phone number/ favorite subject, etc.) Continue playing, no one gets out, all just answer questions.
