These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Clicker: TV Remote App (the "App"), provided by Clicker ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms incorporate Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). Where the two conflict, these Terms apply.
The App is a universal remote control for smart TVs and streaming devices on your local Wi-Fi network. Depending on the device, it offers remote control, app launching, keyboard input, voice commands and casting of photos, videos and music from your iPhone or iPad.
The App works only with devices that are on the same network and support the required protocols. Features vary by brand and model. We do not guarantee that the App works with every device, firmware version or network setup.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the App, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
The App is free to download and includes ads. A Premium subscription removes ads and unlocks all features.
Prices and plan lengths are shown in the App before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Free trials and introductory offers: if offered, the trial converts to a paid subscription at the price shown unless you cancel before it ends. Unused trial time is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Cancellation: manage or cancel in iOS Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds: purchases are handled by Apple and refunds follow Apple's policy (https://support.apple.com/billing). We cannot issue refunds directly.
Restore: use "Restore Purchases" in the App to recover an active subscription on a new device signed in to the same Apple ID.
We may change prices for future periods. You will be notified as required by Apple before any change applies to you.
The free version shows advertisements from third-party networks. Ads are subject to the networks' own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the sites they link to.
Use the App only with devices you own or are authorized to control.
Keep your network reasonably secure. The App sends commands over your local network and cannot protect a network you have opened to others.
Content you cast must be content you have the right to use.
Do not use the App in a way that interferes with its operation or with any TV, network or service.
Samsung, LG, Sony, TCL, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Google TV, Chromecast, Apple and all other brand names are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. The App relies on interfaces those manufacturers provide and may stop working with a device if the manufacturer changes or removes them.
Our Privacy Policy (https://sites.google.com/view/clickertvremoteapp/privacypolicy) explains what information the App and its third-party services collect and how you can control it.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. You use the App at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. Sections 6 to 12 survive termination.
We may update the App and these Terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [country], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are resolved in the courts of [country], unless mandatory consumer law in your country gives you other rights.
