G.S. Musave School Project

Thanks to our strong partnership with IDA Rwanda - our NGO in country - we are taking on a second project in the greater Kigali area of Rwanda. While on our assessment trip for the Kagarama Water Project, we dropped off school supplies at a local school: G.S. Musave. 

Representatives from the school knew we were working on a water project nearby, and asked for our help. Their school has access to government water one day a week, during which they fill a 5000L storage tank. The full tank lasts them about one day before it's empty, and the school has to use contaminated water from rain-water catchment systems for the rest of the week. Our goal is to build more storage tanks for G.S. Musave so that their 3,500 student population will have access to clean drinking water daily.  We plan to couple the assessment trip for this project with the implementation trip for the Kagarama Water Project.
