FAQ
After clean install or upgrade sunrise/sunset/day duration is not presented - please run any outdoor activity to get gps coordinates, then came back to watch face.
After GPS is set, last location is stored in the settings and updated always when watch gets new coordinates.
Weather info is available only for Garmin devices with 3.2 IQ SDK, - it is taken from Garmin new API to get already cached & present in watch weather data from Garmin.
Sometimes users are reporting issue with uninstalling watch face. This is on Garmin side, not developer. Try first to change to another watch face on your device, then to uninstall it using GCM (Garmin Connect Mobile)
It's not watch face depended and developer can not help with that.
For selected "legacy" devices adding new features is limited due to its' limitations (no. of supported colors, iQ SDK less then 3.0, small memory itc).
Legacy devices has its' own settings & source (fr45, swim2, fr230, fr235, fr630, fr735xt, d2bravo, fenix3, fenix3hr, approachs60 )
Due to memory limitations development for those legacy devices has been frozen on 2.2 version - please do not expect future changes.
Some other features can be specific version of Garmin IQ SDK depended e.g. weather info.
On Vivoactive 3 & 4 there is confirmed bug in Garmin firmware preventing from sending wake up event from sleep mode after wrist gesture: https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/i/bug-reports/onexitsleep-not-being-called-on-va4
One of the potential reason is a situation when you have switched on 'do not disturb' option in Garmin watch settings.
Watch face developer has no access to touch screen events, so can not react on such action. So all reactions on swiping/ touching the display is in Garmin firmware which translate then into standard key pressed events.
No, it's not because of the following reasons:
no place for second field in the layout design
adding seconds always drains more battery
idea is to display only meaningful information
Use standard device settings in your watch - usually under Settings / System / Time and Settings / System / Units
I am developing this watch face in my spare time for fun - I don't have time to prepare and maintain settings & description in tens of localisation.
This is an alert of low blood oxygen saturation. You can set in the settings a level of this alter (and set it to 0 when not needed)
Heart rate icon color depends on alert levels (low and high) defined in the settings.
Weather data (with temperature) are taken from Garmin watch - so you have to check if it's synchronized with you mobile app.
Once it will be synchronized and get the weather data, watch face would take it from the watch.
Watch face mechanics compiled to all Garmin rules to be able to display clock all the time in bur in in protection mode: floating clock, below 10% pixels are on, no single pixel displayed more then 3 minutes. It also tested in the Garmin simulator against this rules as described here.
From version 3.6.0 this fields are available to configure for all devices with Gamin System 5 firmware (meaning SDK 4.1.1 or above). Please check on Garmin site if your device is capable to get this update.
In release 3.3.0 there was huge refactor of watch face settings and all settings would be lost. You have to reconfigure watch face again. I hope to minimize this situation in the future.
