General

Background color

Setting background of watch face.
Note that
AUTO BLACK/WHITE & AUTO WHITE/BLACK options would change the watch face background when the "night" will come.

When the night starts

Choose when background color should change to WHITE/BLACK:

  • 5 min / 1h after the sunset/sunrise

  • at midnight / noon

  • while DND (do not disturb) is active - you can define it in device settings

Clock font

Font selection for clock (hours & minutes) font.

Hour color & Minutes color

Color selection separate for Hour & Minutes clock text.

Note that Hour/Minutes colors can be affected also by Time digits color tweaks & Move indicator options.

Hour/Min separator

Select separator between Hour & Minutes: Colon, Line or None

Separator color

Color selection separate for Hour & Minutes clock text.

Note that separator colors can be affected also by Move indicator option.

Clock digits color tweaks

This is the only setting which logic you have to discover by yourself :). Have fun or disable it.

Centre clock line

If set then a separator will be floating horizontally and clock is adjusted to display it's digits centralised.

Coloring vs targets

If set then fields will be colored against daily targets

Coloring fields

Choose field parts which should be colored: Icons, Text, Both or None

Accent color

Color used for sunset/sunrise alerting.

Text color

Color used for standard (not clock) text.
Note that text color may be affected by
coloring vs targets option.

Text size

Size of standard text. By default the proper size is calculated depending on your device. You can change the default value to one of Garmin build in fonts, but remember that its sizes are very device depended and changing it may influence watch face readiness and layout behaviour.

Icon color

Color for icons.
Note that icon color may be affected by
coloring vs targets & accent color option.

Move indicator

You can chose how Garmin move bar is presented: as seperate Runner icon, separator color, hour, minutes color or none. Note that 2 colors are in use: yellow one when Garmin move bar is above 3 bars and red if 5 bars (maximum) is reached. Once you will be in any activity Garmin device will clear move bar indication.

AM/PM indicator

If AM/PM should be presented when 12h time is selected.

Note that 12h/24h time selection is in you device settings. This watch face read this setting from Garmin device.

Leading zero for hour digits

If set leading zero will be added to hour.

Detailed view on wrist move

By default after wrist move towards your eyes Garmin is walking up the watch face for about 10 sec. During this period Detailed view is presented. You can extend this period or to longer time (20-80 sec, 2 min, 1h) or set to Never (only Simple view would be presented) or finally to Forever (only Detailed view would be presented). Note that periods are not exactly known (20-80 sec, about 2 min) while Garmin device is walking up each clock minutes and only during this "alive" time view can revert to default one.

Show 2 screens of fields in Detailed view

When is set Detailed view is composed of 2 screens which are presented one after other (3 sec. by default). The aim is to multiply fields presentation in a way that you can define which fields should be presented during first few seconds (1st Screen) and later on (2ns Screen) after waking up the device via wrist move.
Note when you switch it off only 2nd Screen
would be presented.

Duration of 1st Screen in Detailed view

Number of second which 1st Screen view is presented before switching to 2nd Screen.

Note that by default the total time for presenting both screens is about 10 sec. while this is a standard waking up time defined by Garmin.

Always-on view

This is required for AMOLED devices to always display clock information after device is going to sleep. If set to Never or Always (for AMOLED) then Garmin firmware would cancel any view and black screen is presented.

For non-AMOLED devices you can chose between Never (Simple view is presented on default) or Always.

Always-on period

Choose when Always-On view is presented:

  • 5 min / 1h after the sunset/sunrise

  • at midnight / noon

  • while DND (do not disturb) is active - you can define it in device settings

  • while in resting mode

  • 3 min after going rest

  • for first 1 min after going rest, then blank screen (super battery saver)

  • while in resting mode, blank screen when DND (do not disturb)

Note that for OLED displays only "while in resting mode" is recommended.

Dates & Alerts icons on Always-Onview

If set the above clock line with icons & date bar would be presented almost like on Simple view, but with the following restrictions:

  • field would be presented only when in alert mode (e.g. existing notification, heart rate above target, lost connection, etc.)

  • only icon, without text is presented

Note that this is experimental feature and it requires big screens (above 260x260) to display correctly.

Show battery icon and %

On which screens battery icon & % should be presented.

Battery alert below (alert)

% below which battery icon would be presented on Simple View (alert)
