How Clean & Tidy started?

Just after we started our studies at the university, we moved to student apartments and started living away from homes and parents. Everything seemed to be enthusiastic and smoothly moving until we started getting lots of study work and assignments.

The nice and tidy rooms became messy places as we did not have enough time for cleaning. Messy surroundings will always make you feel bad and stressed. We understood that we were losing our enthusiasm and interest in studies since we can not relax well in our messy rooms. We decided to take the service of a cleaning company and started to scroll the internet. Unfortunately, the services were too expensive and many of us could not afford them. This was a stressful situation as we were extremely busy with our studies and the messy rooms made us crazy.

At this point, we could understand that almost all the students were having the same problem as we do and this nice idea of helping others to overcome this struggle came across our minds. We thought why we can not get together and form a small company to provide room cleaning services to our colleagues at affordable prices. This will privilege our friends by giving them nice and clean environments to continue their studies peacefully and we will also be privileged by earning some money and huge satisfaction.

That is how Clean & Tidy started in 2018 and with time we are growing with a passionate group who have become experts in cleaning. We are extremely thrilled to see how students are continuing their studies with peace of mind while handing over cleaning problems to us, at the same time saving their money as well.

At the initial stages, we were facing challenges in finding customers. Here we decided to use social media platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, and yammer to bring our service to notice of other students. This was a huge success and many students started reserving time slots with us to get their rooms cleaned.

By 2020, we were growing rapidly and expanded our services to Helsinki and Vantaa.

By 2021, we have grown up to a bigger company with nearly 50 team members working together in achieving our goals.
