In an imperfect world there will always be people looking to better it. A Better Tomorrow is an experience in public speaking, where a group of writers from all different backgrounds come together to share their ideas for change and how they see the world for the better.
This was modeled in Rhino then was imported into Blender to create the final renders.
In our architectural studio 1, we were tasked with designing and modeling a functional restaurant that would be on Short Vine St. right by campus.
The objective of the assignment was to create a restaurant that incorporated a green house into the design. I opted to make the green house the focal point of the whole restaurant. The bottom floor has an industrial design while the top floor is intended for nicer sit down dining with a banquet room facing towards campus.
This was originally modeled fully in Revit then was imported into Blender to create the final renders.
The inverse of the Thin House, a project that can be found below. The Thick House is a project in OTR, a neighborhood in Cincinnati, with the site being the parking lot behind The Ohio Bookstore.

A house built in a 3'-6" wide alley.

In our architectural studio 2 class, we were tasked with designing and modeling a pavilion that comes with a library, reading areas, a performance area, a classroom, and offices. The site for the project is the hill across the street from Krohn Conservatory
At its core, my project is centered around the Golden Ratio and the Golden Spiral encompassing math and nature into my design. I chose to have the performance space be the center point of the project with an echo-dome to direct the noise and decrease noise pollution. I went for a design that incorporated the library into the spiral where it can receive lots of natural lighting, and the classroom I wanted to have as a focal point with its large skylight leading up underneath the performance stage. The stair-stepping platforms are loosely based on the golden ratio and the shapes that can be created by it using the paths as the linework. By using stair-stepping platforms it allows for the option of using each platform for its own activity or as a group. The differing levels also help decrease the noise from one part to another allowing the reading areas to not be disturbed by other areas.
This was originally modeled in a mix of Rhino, SketchUp, and Blender. The final renders were then made in Blender.
This is a house in the woods (on a lake) scene fully designed, modeled, and rendered by myself for my architecture skills 1 class.
These are all renders I created for the Walnut Hills Library new addition. I personally worked on the interior modeling and lighting of the new addition as well as some of the exterior and the interior for the old part of the library. This was all done while working for Fishbeck.
