One of the fundamental principles of clay target shooting is the ability to first visualise a target’s flight path and then accurately reproduce that movement in real time. In Olympic Trap, shooters may not know the exact direction of each target, but they do know the official ISSF scheme. This application enhances confidence and preparedness by allowing athletes to mentally rehearse each scheme before stepping onto the range.
The app includes all ten ISSF Olympic Trap tables, enabling shooters to familiarise themselves with the angles, elevations, and target behaviour they will encounter in competition. It also functions as an interactive shooting simulator: users can “shoot” targets by swinging through with their finger, supported by realistic range backgrounds and authentic shot sounds.

- David Kostelecký, Beijing 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist.
"Great app for getting you ready for the round. Even small things can help you reach the top of the game. With this you can read the targets better and you will be ready for all schemas!"
Nicola Heron - British Helice Team.
"I love interesting shooting Apps. Here are some great ones from Tiro Apps.I can recommend the trap apps. Until now I had never understood (in real time) what the different schemes for OT looked like on each individual peg. This app is enlightening. Well done!!"

Ensures the projector displays your iPhone/iPad screen.
Power on the projector
Open the Source/Input menu
Choose HDMI as the active input
Confirm your iPhone/iPad screen is mirrored correctly
Enables acoustic target release and prepares the app for dry‑fire simulation.
Open the TrapShoot App on your iPhone/iPad
Go to Settings inside the app
Turn Mic = ON to allow voice‑activated target release
Select your preferred range background and ISSF scheme
Training Mode
Simulates real Olympic Trap target calling and shooting without live ammunition.
Stand in your shooting stance facing the projected image
Call “Pull” to release the target acoustically
Track the clay visually as it appears on the wall
Swing through with your actual shotgun (unloaded)
Dry‑fire at the correct break point
Repeat for 25‑target rounds or custom timing settings
Improves realism and skill transfer to the shooting range.
Adjust target speed (0.6–10 sec) to match your training goals
Adjust target‑to‑target delay (0–15 sec)
Use different range backgrounds (Uboldo, San Marino, Carnview, etc.)
Project onto a larger wall for enhanced peripheral vision
Focus on mount smoothness, hold points, and break points
