Claypit Hill School volunteers started building the garden in 2008. These raised beds were the first things to go into the ground.
Deane Coady taught second grade at Claypit Hill School and she got the garden started with the help of the Wayland Green Team. Ms. Coady helped take care of the garden for many years, even after she retired!
