Scoring goals, setting the hook just right, cooking a nice meal, and a member of the Cochrane endurance project. These are all things Clay Grattidge has learned and mastered over the years. Grattidge is a 10th grade Cochrane high student that is a member of Rome's course. He does lots of different types of activities like soccer, running, skiing and fishing in his spare time. Clay loves the outdoors. He said this when I interviewed him “I love the outdoors, It makes me feel free and makes me want to just explore all of it”. Another thing Grattidge said in the interview “Soccer is the thing I am most passionate about and I want to see where it takes me in the future” Grattidge plays for the Springbank Soccer Club Clay has been playing soccer since he was 3 and has loved it since then he said this about soccer “I love soccer because of the pace of the game and the team aspect” I am excited to see where his passion takes him. Another an example of the many activities that Grattidge partakes in is the Cochrane Endurance project where he takes part every Monday and Wednesday. The Cochrane endurance project is a small group of people that run every week around the town of Cochrane. Some other aspirations Grattidge has is fishing he loves to fish, he has a river behind his house, he said this in the interview,“I love to walk down and cast my bait into the slow-moving river it is one of the most peaceful things in the world” some of Clay's favourite fishes to catch are bass and trout specifically brown trout which is some of the biggest freshwater fish in the world. The last thing me and Clay talk about is the food he likes to cook and eat, one of his favourite foods to eat is Indian and his favourite food to cook is pork bits which is a piece of pork wrapped in dough. Well, it is clear to say that Clay Grattidge is a very interesting, exciting, and adventurous guy, and at first glance, you may not know that this guy can score goals, catch big fish, and can run like a mad man, but I dove in-depth to learn this stuff and I am glad I have because he is an interesting guy and I look forward to seeing his career in soccer grow and become a superstar.
