I obtained my PhD in Mathematics in 2010 at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin, under the advise of Yvan Martel (Video) and Frank Merle (Video 1, Video 2). Carlos Kenig was my postdoctoral mentor, at the U. of Chicago during 2011-2013. Previously, Manuel del Pino was my undergraduate advisor at the U. of Chile in 2006. I also obtained a Bachelor in Astronomy in 2006 at the U. of Chile. Since 2013 I have been Chargé de Recherche CNRS (on leave), and since 2020 I have been a Full Professor at DIM-CMM.
I am interested in Nonlinear dispersive equations, in particular: collisions, well-posedness, stability and asymptotic stability of kinks and solitons, integrability and blow-up, and more recently, Inverse Problems and the mathematics of deep neural networks in PDEs.
