I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Prof. Sebastian Herr at Bielefeld University, working within the project Nonlinear Interaction of Rough Waves, part of the Collaborative Research Center 1283 “Taming Uncertainty and Profiting from Randomness and Low Regularity in Analysis, Stochastics and Their Applications.”
I completed my PhD in the Department of Mathematical Engineering (DIM) at the University of Chile, under the supervision of Prof. Claudio Muñoz. Before that, I conducted my master's research under the guidance of Prof. Manuel Pinto at the Faculty of Sciences, also at the University of Chile.

I am interested in Nonlinear Dispersive Equations, Asymptotic Models for Water Waves and Mathematical-biology. The Boussinesq models are among my main motivations. In particular, I study well- and ill-posedness, stability and asymptotic stability of solitary waves. I also study some advanced quantum field models.
