Holder of the agrégation in French from the Pedagogical University of Kinshasa, Gaston Kalubi Kabasele has a career spanning the press, publishing and public administration.

A former member of the presidential press corps under the Second Republic, he has contributed to several journals and magazines and set up a number of them. He has worked several times in various ministries and has supported many civil society organizations.

He is currently Director of Publications at the Regional Center for Research and Documentation on Women, Gender and Peacebuilding in the Great Lakes Region (CERED-GL), within the Ministry of Gender, Family and Children.
