Please read over the rules/expectations carefully.
All students and parents should be familiar with these before a class begins.
You arrive early (5-10 minutes). My general rule for all my classes are: "You're early you're on time, you're on time, you're late, you're late, you're out." Does lateness happen? Sure. Should it be chronic lateness? No. Being early shows respect for the class, your teacher, and your fellow actors.
You come with an open heart and an open mind. Hate, of any kind (bullying, harassment, disrespectful language use, etc.) towards your teacher or your fellow actors is completely unacceptable. I have a "3 strikes" policy. The first time it happens, I keep it "in house". If it happens a second time, I notify your guardians, and the third time, I ask you not to return to Class Act and I do not issue a refund.
Take responsibility: for your actions, for yourself, and your mess. Whatever space is being used, we treat it respectfully so that we are invited to use the space again. Misuse of any property will result in removal from class.
Embrace the weird: don't be afraid to try new things. Our space is a "safe space" where you are free to be yourself.
Actively participate. Theatre does not happen without actors. These classes are for actors to learn acting, not for you to be an audience member. Join us!
Payment must be paid in full prior to the start of the first day of your student's class. I accept cash, Venmo and Paypal (Please see "Payment" option on the website for Paypal and Venmo). I can give you a receipt if necessary (please ask!)
If you are sick- stay home. You must wear a mask if you are not vaccinated. Summer allergies are bad, summer colds happen too. If you are sick, please don't get the rest of us sick.
