What you should find at this site
Whether you were referred here or found it by accident, welcome.
The site was provided freely via Google Sites. After an early effort with Wordpress, I fell far behind with updates and hosting support and maintaining it was a more misery than joy. So I am restarting with this platform.
My lifelong home has been in Winston Salem, NC. I am fond of quoting poet John Ed Pearce "Home is a place where you grow up wanting to leave, and grow old wanting to get back to" in describing life here. I retired from the health care industry a few years ago and find my regular preoccupations now to be recreational cycling and other outdoor exercise, volunteering as a docent at the Reynolda House Museum of American Art and reading.
This website goal is to write about that simple life and and share the writings with whoever may find their way here. And since this project started in a global pandemic, I feel that I should document how I navigate about in these new challenges.
Please enjoy.
