In this feature article, I profiled an amazing and aspiring opera singer. I went in depth about his familial upbringing, his queer identity and his exuberance. This piece won first place in the College Media Association Pinnacle Awards for "Best Arts and Entertainment Story (print/web)" Division I.

In this article, I take a look at the environmental segregation and sacrifice zones in Chicago.This piece won SPJ's Region 5 Mark of Excellence Award, as well as a National Pacemakers award for local climate reporting.

In this feature/profile article, I attended a Filipino workshop at my school's Asian, Pacific Islander and Desi American (APIDA) cultural center. I use mine, and other Filipino stories to show how despite colonization and moving to the U.S., we all collectively fight to keep our culture alive.
