Programme founder / Instructor
Mr Masa is a composer and multi-instrumentalist (piano, violin/fiddle, Middle Eastern oud, mandolin, banjo, guitar, and more) who has created numerous works inspired by traditional music. After high school in Palmerston North, New Zealand, he graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music, majoring in composition, and later travelled through various countries to explore traditional music and education.
As a music concierge, he provides bespoke musical support—from private concerts to connecting clients with musical partners—and has guided over 1,000 learners through schools and private lessons.
Since 2018, he has taught a custom solfège and eurhythmics programme as part of the regular preschool curriculum at Clarence, helping children discover musical treasures from many cultures—all while having fun.
