Master Course: Global Strategy (Corporate Strategy)

Class size: 40-60 students
The course aims at introducing master students to the challenges of formulating and implementing corporate strategy in large, complex organizations. Through an intensive case-based learning approach, students develop the conceptual frameworks and analytical tools needed to evaluate strategic decisions related to corporate scope, growth, organizational design, and implementation. By discussing real-world cases across a variety of industries and contexts, students learn to diagnose strategic problems, assess alternative courses of action, and understand how firms respond to changing competitive, technological, and societal environments. Particular emphasis is placed on developing strategic thinking, decision-making, and communication skills, as well as on appreciating the complexities and trade-offs involved in managing multi-business corporations. The course culminates in a business simulation that allows students to apply these concepts in a dynamic and competitive setting, gaining first-hand experience with the challenges of corporate leadership and strategic execution.
Bachelor Course: Business Administration and Management

Taught 8 classes of 90 minutes each, correspondind to 1/3 of the course
Class size: 100-150 students
The course introduces to the broad field of economics and management of firms; the basic concepts and theories of management are presented and discussed. The mission of the course, as well as its specific educational goals, can be summarized as follows: a) Make students aware of the complementary roles that different actors (individuals, organizations, institutions) play in modern economic systems. b) Develop a critical attitude regarding the objectives and the behaviour of people engaged in economic activity. c) Provide students with the fundamental concepts required for the economic analysis of firms' processes, as well as the ability to use them in basic situations. d) Provide basic tools to make decisions based on a scientific approach: basics of probability and predictions. e) Provide a systematic picture of the wide range of decisions faced by managers and of the underlying economic analyses. The course is designed in the purpose to combine concepts and theory with the richness of firms' real life. For this reason, students are strongly encouraged to take an active part in the learning process.
Bachelor Course: CSR and Ethics in Business

The course aims at introducing bachelor students to the ethical, social, and sustainability challenges that increasingly shape managerial decision-making. Through a highly interactive learning approach combining lectures, mini-case studies, group discussions, and practitioner insights, students develop the conceptual frameworks and analytical tools needed to evaluate the responsibilities of firms toward a broad range of stakeholders. By examining real-world business situations, students learn to identify ethical dilemmas, assess the strategic implications of corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives, and understand the trade-offs that arise between economic, social, and environmental objectives. Particular emphasis is placed on stakeholder management, responsible leadership, and the ways in which ethical and sustainable business practices can contribute to organizational legitimacy, long-term competitiveness, and value creation. The course equips students with the critical thinking and decision-making skills needed to navigate complex business environments and to evaluate the role of responsible management in contemporary organizations.
Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA): Qualitative Research Methods
Carried out monthly one-to-one office hours with DBA candidates. Provided guidance on qualitative research design, data collection, and analysis methodologies.
