Meetings:
CLAP hosts meetings every other Tuesday from 4:30 - 5:30 pm. Our meetings typically have a theme to cover a wide variety of topics, including networking and resume-building, facing the professional world as an under-represented minority, understanding the different parts of law school applications, and figuring out what kind of law may be right for you.
LSAT prep:
CLAP owns several LSAT prep books available for loan in the Latinx Studies Lounge, located in Rockefeller Hall on the 4th floor.
CLAP is also an on-campus partner with Kaplan, giving members access to discounts, test prep sessions, and more.
Legal panels:
CLAP is proud to host and co-host several legal panels throughout each school year, with guest speakers ranging from law students, law professors, paralegals, attorneys, alumni, fellow students, and more.
Promoting other events on and off campus:
CLAP is in connection with several other pre-law and minority organizations on campus, including La Asociación Latina, Phi Alpha Delta, and Black Ivy. We are always happy to advertise their events to our members to further their connections and horizons.
CLAP also closely follows several top law schools to alert members of potential recruiting events or information sessions.
