The Psychology Program Council (PPC) is the highest governing student body of the Psychology Program in the Philosophy and Psychology Department of the College of Liberal Arts and Communication. Transparent and accountable service is administered to foster student-centered service that connects psychology students to the Filipino society. Representing the mission and vision of towards a progressive and well-rounded psychology, as well as being guided by the values of Prudence, Perseverance, and Courage— The Psychology Program Council fosters an inclusive, open, and creative community in order to shape altruistic and steadfast pioneers of a better psychology.
MISSION
The Psychology Program Council (PPC), driven by the Lasallian values, intends to offer transparent and accountable service by actively representing the Psychology students to advocate for their welfare in hopes of fostering a sense of community and spirituality, cultivating competency, and nurturing potential through offering opportunities that strive for student involvement and empowerment.
VISION
Guided by the Lasallian core values of faith, zeal for service, and communion, the Psychology Program Council (PPC) envisions a community of well-rounded psychology students equipped with the necessary skills and qualities to achieve academic excellence and create globally competitive psychology practitioners who demonstrate empathy, inclusivity, and altruism as they serve for the marginalized. Furthermore, the council aspires to develop professionals who teach minds, touch hearts, and transform the lives of their community, their fellow Filipinos, and the world around them.
