Ordinance No. 003 Series 2022-2023
The College of Liberal Arts and Communication Student Government (CLACSG), being the highest student governing body of the College of Liberal As and Communication, remains steadfast in its commitment and duty to provide and disclose necessary information to the student body to maintain trust and assurance with full responsibility and accountability.
The Ordinance No. 009 Series 2022-2023, also known as the Transparency and Information Ordinance (TPIO), is sought to be implemented to provide and delineate the functions and operations of the College Student Government while recognizing the right of every CLAC students to be informed.
The College of Liberal Arts and Communication Student Government (CLACSG) held SPEAK, SILAK: The Liberal Town Hall Meeting last September 30, 2025, to strengthen student voices and promote open dialogue within the college. The event provides a platform for student representatives and program councils to discuss academic, facility-related, and campus concerns directly with administrators, including the Dean, Associate Dean, and Department Chairs. Through these consultations, the town hall aims to identify common issues, promote collaboration, and support improvements across the college.
The initiative also aligns with key Sustainable Development Goals, Quality Education (SDG 4), Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9), Sustainable Communities (SDG 11), and Partnerships (SDG 17), by fostering transparency, cooperation, and institutional development. SPEAK SILAK reinforces the commitment of the Liberal Lasallian community to fairness, accountability, and meaningful student–administration engagement.
Learners with disabilities in the Philippines often lack access to psychological assessments essential for identifying their needs and creating appropriate IEPs. Despite existing laws and programs, these assessments remain inaccessible, and many parents are unaware of developmental or psychological challenges due to stigma and limited knowledge.
The CLAC Student Government launched ISIPSURI last October 3–4, 2025, offering free psychological assessments to learners with suspected or confirmed disabilities. The project promotes early intervention, reduces stigma, and supports inclusive education. Aligned with key UN Sustainable Development Goals and rooted in Lasallian values, ISIPSURI unites various university units and partners to foster an educational environment where all learners can thrive.
The College of Liberal Arts and Communication Student Government (CLACSG) held PasiCLACban 2025: Silakbong Lakas, Giting ng Dugong Liberal on October 27–30, 2025, across various campus venues. As an annual interdepartmental sports festival, the event strengthened camaraderie, unity, and school spirit within the CLAC community. It showcased how sports fostered student growth, teamwork, and holistic development.
PasiCLACban also aligned with key Sustainable Development Goals; Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Quality Education (SDG 4), Gender Equality (SDG 5), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), and Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 15), by promoting inclusive participation, upholding fairness, and reinforcing the CLACSG’s role in building a harmonious and supportive student community.
Soulstice: Warmth for All Seasons is a wellness-centered initiative by the College of Liberal Arts and Communication Student Government (CLACSG), designed to support students’ social, emotional, academic, physical, and spiritual well-being. Held in November and December 2025, the project offers a series of activities that help students connect, recharge, and feel supported.
Its major components include the Soulstice Carnival Fair (social wellness), the CLAC Discord Server (emotional wellness), academic mentorship, a Community Pantry during exams (physical wellness), and Classroom Prayer sessions (spiritual wellness). The initiative promotes inclusivity, collaboration, and Lasallian values while aligning with several UN Sustainable Development Goals, including Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-being, Quality Education, Reduced Inequalities, Sustainable Communities, and Partnerships for the Goals.
Soulstice serves as a meaningful movement that strengthens community, fosters student growth, and reinforces holistic wellness within CLAC.
Twelvetide Tales: Spark in the Season of Joy is a Christmas outreach program organized by the College of Liberal Arts and Communication Student Government (CLACSG) in partnership with the College of Liberal Arts and Communication and its Departments to spread joy, compassion, and service during the Christmas season. The initiative aims to support the children and families of Barangay Sta. Fe through various community-centered activities such as the distribution of school supplies, donation drives, free psychological consultation, media and information literacy seminars, and a Christmas celebration for the children.
Through collaboration with academic departments and partner organizations, the program encourages students to practice the Lasallian values of faith, service, and communion. By combining community outreach with online engagement activities, the initiative seeks to uplift communities, promote generosity and solidarity, and create a meaningful and joyful Christmas experience for everyone involved.
The Archonship Training Program 2026 is a leadership formation initiative organized by the College of Liberal Arts and Communication Student Government (CLACSG) to develop the leadership capacities of current and aspiring Liberal Arts student leaders. Running throughout the second semester of A.Y. 2025–2026, the program provides participants, known as Archons or junior members of CLACSG, with practical exposure to student governance, organizational processes, and leadership responsibilities.
Through structured training sessions, guided discussions, and collaborative activities, the program aims to strengthen key leadership skills such as communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and ethical decision-making. Rooted in Lasallian values of service and community, the Archonship Training Program seeks to prepare future student leaders who are committed to serving the CLAC community and contributing to a sustainable culture of leadership and engagement.
The Feast Day Celebration of St. Miguel Febres Cordero is an initiative organized by the College of Liberal Arts and Communication Student Government (CLACSG) to honor the life and legacy of the Lasallian patron saint known for his deep faith, intellectual excellence, and service to others. The celebration was culminated last February 6, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the University Chapel and the Julian Felipe Hall Grounds. Through activities such as a Triduum Novena, Holy Mass, image procession, and a communal feast, the event aims to encourage prayer, reflection, and active participation within the CLAC community.
By bringing together students, faculty, and campus partners, the celebration seeks to strengthen the Lasallian identity and promote spiritual growth among Liberal Arts students. It also highlights the values of faith, service, and communion while inspiring the community to embody the mission and virtues exemplified by St. Miguel Febres Cordero in their daily lives.
XOXO, CLACSG is a Special Valentine’s Day celebration organized by the College of Liberal Arts and Communication Student Government (CLACSG) to promote different forms of love either it's romantic love, friendship, self-love, familial love, and love for the community. The event was held last February 13, 2026, at the Julian Felipe Hall Grounds and aims to create a welcoming space where Liberal Arts students can express appreciation, positivity, and connection with one another.
The program will feature activities such as free cotton candy and ice cream for students, an open mic segment for spoken word and musical performances, and a love wall where participants can write heartfelt messages to themselves, others, or the community. With the addition of a photo booth and flower booth concessionaires, the event encourages creativity, emotional well-being, and community engagement while fostering a joyful and inclusive celebration of love among students.
EDSA 40: Pagsiklab sa Diwa ng Paninindigan at Pakikiisa is a commemorative event organized by the College of Liberal Arts and Communication Student Government (CLACSG) to mark the 40th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution. The event aims to remind students of the historical significance of EDSA as a symbol of unity, courage, and the Filipino people's fight for democracy and freedom. Through creative and reflective activities such as poetry writing, visual art creation, position paper writing, and a film viewing, the event encourages students to deepen their understanding of the revolution and its relevance in today’s sociopolitical context.
By providing a platform for artistic expression and critical dialogue, the event seeks to strengthen civic awareness, inspire youth participation in nation-building, and promote democratic values. Ultimately, the commemoration hopes to empower students to reflect on the lessons of history and actively contribute to building a more just, inclusive, and democratic society.
