Research interests
Research interests
Our research interests are to develop immunological interventions against various diseases involving immune dysfunction/dysregulation, and inflammation. This includes the study of extrinsic and intrinsic cellular signaling pathways, cytokine/chemokine regulation and systemic immune regulation. We also take interest in evidence-based research on natural products (Traditional Chinese Medicine) to evaluate its immunoregulatory potential as an adjunctive treatment alongside conventional medicine.
Our disease models include:
Allergic rhinitis, allergic asthma, atopic dermatitis, food allergy, COVID-19, cancer, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis.
