Dr. Sun works collaboratively with physician assistants, nurses, dietitians, chiropractors, physiotherapists, social workers, fellows, residents, students, observers and locum physicians. From time to time you may encounter them during your clinic visits. If you require Dr. Sun to attend to you personally please let the staff know ahead of time.
Health care can sometimes be frustrating. The staff at the clinic are here to assist you. They can best achieve this in an environment free of harassment,
intimidation, threats, violence and disrespect. These types of behavior can result in termination of your care at the clinic and in some cases criminal charges.
To avoid being charged for an uninsured visit, please ensure you bring your valid health card with you to all appointments.
Dr. Sun's office works hard to provide patients with several options for urgent medical attention, including same day availability, assessment by telephone,
evening appointments, physician assistant assessments, and weekend/holiday walk-in hours. Booking a time can be done conveniently at crosstownfht.ca.
Frequent use of walk-in clinics can result in a discussion about whether or not continuing at Dr. Sun's office is in your best interest.
The doctors in Dr. Sun's group do not accept patients who are switching from a different family physician in the same group. To find a new doctor, patients can register with Health Care Connect.
You can reach Dr. Sun's office through email at cksunmd[at]gmail.com for non urgent issues only. Questions of a medical nature are usually best handled by appointment, walk in assessment or phone assessment. Communication via email is provided only to patients who are able to comply with our zero tolerance policy.
To ensure accessibility and fairness to our patients, we require patients to give at least 24 hours notification to cancel an appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no shows to an appointment will result in a fee being charged to the patient. Patients who arrive late for their appointment or who do not answer their phone at the appointed time may not be assessed and may be required to reschedule.
