I wanted to draw like an old garage with a cool old car getting worked on. I involved both idea’s. It wasn't really from any life experiences I just wanted to draw.

I mostly just used a pencil, and I shaded it to represent different colors of buildings and in the other details to show what they would look like in a black and white picture.

I think the meaning of the drawings is even if you don't have all the nice things like other people do you can still accomplish the same things. I want my audience to think about this little run down garage still in work because the mechanic is more skilled. Where he might not have been as nice as stiff as other repair shops but he can still do the same or better.

I've never really been a fan of not using color, and I think this drawing would have looked better in color. I never really shaded a-lot before either so just using black and white was different. I would add maybe a junk car on the side of the garage for detail.

Its' realistic and I made it my own style by using a mustang in the garage because I think old mustangs are one of the coolest cars ever made. I like the way the car turned out. Usually I like to draw cars from the side and I'm not as good at drawing them from the front.
