The movie uses the character voiceover to express the introverted emotions of the protagonist. As I grew up in Hong Kong, Hong Kong people are relatively introverted, they are not good at saying their things, and they will receive their voices to the deepest.

These are the feelings brought out by the book when reading The Stranger. However, the protagonist of The Stranger, Mosuo, is also a silent person, not because of his silence. Still, because he feels that everything in the world has nothing to do with him,(Camus & Associés, 2020) the world doesn't deserve to talk to him. He only cares about what he watches.

Of course, Mosuo thinks nothing about everything and decides that everything is nihilistic and meaningless, and escaping may be the best way.

In this book of Stranger, Mosuo's story is told, and existentialism is said in a literary way,(Hayden, 2013) making it convenient for me to shape the protagonist of my FMP in my heart. From Mosuo to tell the character of today's Hong Kong people, that is to say.
