The electric and magnetic fields have been utilized to control the flow and heat transfer in various mechanical devices. In past years, we have conducted a research on the system of dielectric liquids used in study of geophysical flow and space engineering. We continue the study on the flow control and the enhancement of heat transfer by electric and magnetic forces in diverse flow configurations. We anticipate that this research leads to a better understanding in the electro-magneto-hydrodynamics and improvement of effective methods for control of flow and heat transport.
