Ms. Williams is the Music Teacher, Choir Director, and Drama Club advisor at Schor Middle School in Piscataway, New Jersey. Prior to this appointment, she worked in the Dumont Public School District for four years as the Middle School Music Teacher at Honiss School and the Dumont Youth Theater Musical Advisor at Dumont High School and has served as President of the Princeton Girlchoir Alumnae Board with Westrick Music Academy in Princeton, New Jersey.
She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Westminster Choir College of Rider University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Music Education at Montclair State University.
Maddie Meier is an educator, choral conductor, and vocalist from St. Louis, Missouri. She serves as Associate Director of the Princeton Girlchoir and Choral Music Director at Grover Middle School in West Windsor-Plainsboro, NJ. Her choirs have earned top honors in state and regional competitions. Ms. Meier has participated in prestigious conducting institutes, including those at Eastman, Georgia State, and Michigan State universities.
A summa cum laude graduate of Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, she also holds degrees in German and French Language Studies. Ms. Meier received a full scholarship to study operatic voice at Kunstuniversität Graz in Austria and won the Montclair Cali School of Music's "Excellence in Opera" award. Locally, she has performed with the Princeton Symphony Orchestra, The Princeton Singers, and the Philadelphia Symphonic Chorus. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Choral Conducting at Michigan State University.
Shannon Maddolin has been a music educator since 2012, she holds a Bachelors of Music Education from William Paterson University, where she trained in choral music education and classical voice. She currently teaches 5th and 6th grade general music and chorus at Grant Elementary School in South Plainfield, New Jersey. Prior to her time at Grant School, Shannon taught 7th-8th grade chorus at South Plainfield Middle School and the 4th grade band program in the South Plainfield school district.
In her tenure she has doubled the choral program, successfully coached students auditioning for regional honor choirs, performed with top rating at Music Festivals, taken students to participate in the American Young Voices program, and has been the recipient of a variety of grants to help support and enhance her programs.
Shannon is a member of NAfME, NJMEA, and CJMEA as Chair of General Music. Shannon also sings while being on the board of the Celebration Singers of New Jersey, a community choir based in Cranford, New Jersey. For the past 6 years Shannon has been actively working as the music specialist for the JCC of Scotch Plains for their preschool summer camp and now as their celebrations music specialist for youth ages 3 -6. Shannon is beginning to present for other music educators around the state and has made her premiere conducting experience for the CJMEA Elementary Honors Chorus Festival in May of 2023.
