  • Tuesday 1/27 - Community Appreciation. The students will have the opportunity to thank bus drivers, crossing guards, mail carriers, rectory staff and more. 

• Wednesday 1/28 - Faculty / Staff Appreciation. The 8th grade class along with the HSA treat our amazing staff and teachers to a luncheon in the cafeteria. We rely on parent volunteers to cover lunch and recess in each classroom on this day so our teachers and staff can enjoy lunch together. Please sign up here to cover a classroom for lunch and indoor recess and if you plan to volunteer, please be sure Donna Leonard has your clearances as they will be required. (Info on clearances needed can be found here). Students may wear a shirt over their uniform representing their favorite team. 

• Thursday 1/29 - Parent Appreciation. The HSA will be surprising our teachers / staff with some special treats today! And there will be no homework in honor of Parent and Student Appreciation days. Due to the snow days on Monday & Tuesday, Crazy Sock day is now happening on Thursday 1/29. Students may wear their Blue Ribbon or Spirit wear shirt, gym pants, sneakers and crazy socks! 

• Friday 1/30 - Student Appreciation. CSW Closing Mass at 9:30am in St. Denis Church. 

• Student Council is collecting new socks for The Joy of Sox an organization started by the grandfather of a CJF Alum, providing socks to the homeless.

Super Bowl Prop Bets - $10 / form or $25 for 3 forms.  Winner will receive 60% of the pot, with the remainder going to the school.  

Super Bowl Block Pool - Welcome to the CJF Super Bowl Block pool! Squares are $50 and the lucky winner will win $1500 (with smaller cash prizes for the 1st - 3rd quarters). We are so excited to get the boys together with their great gals for bowling at Sproul Lanes on Friday, March 13th. The event will take place from 6-8 pm, and it is an event for boys in grade K-8 and their moms. 

The cost is $40 per family. You can Venmo the HSA @cjfhomeandschool (please note your last name and Great Gal Bowling) or send a check made out to CJF Home and School Association in to school, care of Emily Fore, grade 4. Please send payment by Friday, March 6th.
