Submission Guidelines

We welcome scholars and students from various academic fields to submit their abstracts by October 16, 2023. Paper abstracts up to 250 words should be submitted by application form to the CJD conference submission link. 

The selected participant should send their PowerPoint and script before the conference and the full paper should be sent after the conference to iccs.cjdproject@gmail.com. The detailed information will be informed via email. 

For full paper submission, please refer the guidelines:

1. Abstract (the length of the abstracts should be 300–400 words in English or 450–600 characters in Mandarin), keywords (five or six), main text, references (as described below), and appendices (if applicable). 

2. We require the selection of at least two images (one will be used as the header image of the article) for each submission. We recommend using images from Flickr or other image depository sites that are COPYRIGHT FREE (or are allowed to be used under a creative commons license with due attribution to the owner). Links to selected images should be provided with the article. You may click on this link for an exemplary CJD article.

3. Articles should be 2,000–3,000 words if written in English and 3,000–4,500 characters if written in Mandarin Chinese.

4. Reference and citation guides use the APA reference style.

Accepted participants will be given an opportunity to publish their papers in CJD 5th Booklet. Additionally, participants with a Taiwanese Bank Account will be paid 4,000 NTD for their paper. Due to university policy, only those with Taiwanese Bank Account (Chunghwa Post / E. SUN Commercial Bank) are eligible for remuneration. 

我們歡迎不同學術領域的學者和學生於2023年10月16日前通過CJD投稿表單提交申請資料和論文摘要。

摘要以500字為限。

獲錄取的作者應於會議前提供報告的簡報和文字稿，並於會議結束後提供論文全文，寄至iccs.cjdproject@gmail.com。更詳盡的資訊請見CJD團隊屆時發出的電郵。

關於論文全文撰稿體例，請參考以下指引：

1. 摘要（以300-400字英文或450-600字中文為上限，請提供五至六個關鍵詞、正文、參考書目，如有需要可提供附錄）

2. 每篇論文至少附上兩張圖片（其中一張用作文章的頁首圖像）。我們建議從Flickr或其他圖片庫裡搜尋和下載沒有版權（copyright free or public domain work）或創用CC授權/creative commons license（必須按照著作人或授權人所指定的方式，標示其姓名）的圖片，以作刊登用途。文章內應附上圖片的連結，請參考這篇範例文章。

3. 英文論文以2000-3000字為原則，中文論文以3000-4500字為原則。

4. 參考書目和論文引用請用APA格式。

獲錄取的論文將有機會刊登於CJD編輯和出版的第五期特刊。另外，若作者持有台灣的銀行帳戶，將獲得台幣4000元稿酬。限於大學政策規定，只有台灣銀行帳戶（中華郵政/玉山銀行）持有者能夠獲取稿酬。
