During my concentration in Educational Technology during my B.Ed. at Queen's, we worked to design a solution for a teaching and learning problem for a teacher in the Kingston community.
The high school does not have an accurate map of the school. This has been identified as a problem by entering Grade 9s, transfer, and exchange students.
Activity plan: Grade 9 students will create a user-friendly map for all new students that is accurate, but not necessarily to scale. The map will include important locations, such as room numbers, bathrooms, and the main office.
