Recital Day Info

Show times on SUNDAY, JUNE 7th are 10:00am and 2:30pm 

at Toms River North High School.  

Please check your specific classes to make sure you know which show(s) to buy your tickets for. Your show number is posted on the class schedule, as well as on your class specific page.

Performers are required to arrive one hour before show time with full hair and makeup done, and in their first costume. All dancers, regardless of age, MUST check in at the front desk at the entrance to the school. After check in, dancers will be told where to report. ALL dancers will remain with the studio for the entirety of the show - all dancers return to the stage for the Finale. After Finale, (1) parent can report to the cafeteria for dancer dismissal. 

NO DADS ARE ALLOWED BACKSTAGE - NO EXCEPTIONS! 

Please label everything with your dancers name, including shoes, costumes, personal items, bags, etc.  We also suggest putting a paper with your cell phone number on it, inside their bag, in case we need to contact you. We highly recommend that you do NOT send your dancer with anything valuable as our studio and the venue will take no responsibility if an item is damaged, misplaced, lost or stolen. 

Classes that are level 3 and higher are in BOTH shows.   You do not need to purchase tickets for both shows unless you plan to watch both shows.  To make this more accommodating to your family, we suggest attending one show with your family.  If you are not comfortable leaving your child for the opposite show, volunteering as class mom or backstage helper will alleviate that.  You are also welcome to leave your dancer if needed.  They are safe with their class.  

There is NOT enough time to take your dancer between shows.  Please pack them snacks, drinks and lunch for the day. Due to severe allergies, no peanut products are allowed on Recital Day. Thank you for understanding and helping keep our dancers safe. 

Please be considerate of your fellow audience members and treat our dancers with the respect that they deserve during their performance. This is a great opportunity to review audience etiquette with our younger audience members. Keep talking to a minimum, limit movement during routines and clap for all dancers! Disruptive audience members WILL be removed to ensure all families have the best experience.

With considerable thought to copyright and child safety laws, personal photography or video recording is strictly prohibited.
