Atty. Nolito M. Quilang is currently elected as one of the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) Members of the 16th Sangguniang Panlungsod of the Local Government Unit of Ormoc. On the aspect of education, he is the Chairman of the Committee on Education and Manpower Development that focuses on formulating and implementing policies related to education, training, and workforce development. Aside from his legislative works in the government, he also serves as the Interim President of the City College of Ormoc bringing with him his values of excellence.
Ms. Maricel R. Ngo is a well-known personality in the area of business and industry in the region. She also holds consultancy services to support the projects, programs, and policies of the local government. As one of her noble contributions to the overall development of the City College of Ormoc, she takes her vast experience and knowledge on school administration and management here as she sits as the Assistant School Administrator who oversees the day-to-day operations of the esteemed institution.
Jenny is a distinguished social worker and educator, whose extensive experience in both government and non-profit sectors profoundly contributes to her dual roles as the Assistant Administrator for Academic Affairs and Planning and Head of the Bachelor of Science in Social Work Program. Her educational background, marked by degrees from the prestigious Catholic University of America and the University of the Philippines-Diliman, provides her with a deep and multifaceted understanding of social work. This foundation allows her to ensure the BSSW curriculum is not only academically rigorous but also practically relevant and responsive to current social challenges.
Her varied leadership experiences, including her role as Executive Director at ECLIPSE, Inc. and Division Chief at the Ormoc City Social Welfare Department, demonstrate her skill in collaborative leadership and her dedication to professional growth. Jenny’s unique combination of academic excellence, practical experience, and forward-thinking leadership makes her a vital contributor to the institution, adeptly shaping an academic environment that is both progressive and attuned to the evolving needs of society.
