HISTORY

City College of Ormoc (CCO) was founded on a creative idea during a benchmarking activity at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. During this pursuit of academic achievement, the Gomezes, inspired by a desire to empower their fellow Ormocanons, began to dream of building a City College that would be a beacon of quality education without compromise.

Inspired by PLV's creative ideas, the Gomezes envisioned a learning institution that would meet worldwide standards and improve Ormoc's education. These "Trees of Dreams," as the Gomezes called them, may help them raise a generation of globally competitive people with the knowledge and abilities to navigate the modern world.

The City College of Ormoc was the Gomezes' vision realized with dedication and quality. The benchmarking activity in Manila inspired the institution's height. More than a place to learn, CCO nurtures Ormocanons to become their best selves with a global perspective and the power to make a difference.

The dream became true through perseverance, enthusiasm, and a shared commitment to high-quality education. One of the Trees of Dreams, the City College of Ormoc, is a testament to the transformative power of a vision.
