Approximately, 2000 students enter our doors daily, and are expecting high quality education to give them the foundation for their future. This levy will allow us to continue operating with the same resources and funds as in years past. Our students are counting on YOUR support and the support from this community! Show them they matter.
SHOW THEM THEY ARE ENOUGH!
You are looking at the reasons to VOTE YES on March 17th!
Our students rely on their community to support their education - THEIR FUTURE! The integrity of the academic program needs to be maintained and student needs are the priority!
We have great people in the district, great staff and teachers who are really dedicated to the message, but we cannot keep them if we cannot pay them what they deserve.
Having great schools enhances community pride, and demonstrates that the River View Community believes in investing in its future. It also demonstrates to students that the community believes that they are worth the investment.
I am so proud of my son and his friends. The staff at Conesville taught them so much more then education, they taught them to care about their school. These boys created a fundraiser to buy new gym equipment for their school. I am proud to be a Black Bear!
-Aimee WeberThe sense of community that comes with being a Black Bear is like no other. We are so blessed to live in a district like River View where sending our kids to school everyday is easy because you know they are with teachers who genuinely care. We are so proud to be raising 4 little Black Bears!
-Rachelle LoweThough all sporting programs are considered "extra" by the majority of the population, our children have thrived and excelled due to them. Its not "just a ball". It's watching your child's face when they come off the field after a hard fought loss and them having the courage to get back out there and try again...It's the time management processes that their brains and bodies have to adjust to...It's physical demand of blood sweat and tears that the hours upon hours of practice cause...It's the pride of putting on that River View Jersey for the first time and the tears of putting it on for the last... I live paycheck to paycheck if even barely that...but I can tell you I'd scrape together my last 6 dollars to watch my kids... and ..."just a ball".
-Casey GiffinBoth our children have been part of the Conesville school. I can say they have had the best teachers and principals that I could ever wish. Not to mention the quality of education, especially starting out!
-Jody RoachMy big kids learned so much, forged friendships, and built memories through the halls of Conesville Elementary. Conesville staff loved them, encouraged them, and taught them to do great things, dream big dreams, and care for others. That foundation prepared each of them to achieve amazing things! Amanda, Neal, and Lauren were so fortunate to have been at Conesville from the start of their educational careers! So, when it came time to consider educational settings for our second set of children (we fostered and eventually adopted 8), it was clear that Conesville would be our first choice! However, we don't live in the district so we prayed that we'd be able to open enroll!! Mr. Moore and his staff welcomed us, helped our crew adjust, readjust, and learn. Before too long, they all were building new friendships, excelling academically, and learning to trust. We've come a LONG way ... And in many ways have further to go. Mr. Renner and the rest of the staff continue to invest in the lives of our little people and support them on the not so good days too!! We count RIVER VIEW as one of our best partners! Thank YOU River View Staff for being SO MUCH MORE than employees!!!
We love you!!
-Tammy FoxI could never express the sense of pride and community I have seen over the years of being a Black Bear. From being a student myself, to having a child in the school system: the staff, students, and families go above and beyond to help and care... Rally together when needed. It truly takes a village, and the Black Bear village is like no other. Moving away for a year, made me appreciate this community even more!
We are Proud to be Black Bears!
-Janell HutchinsonAll 4 of my babies started at Conesville. I’ve never had any doubts or any concerns for them. I went to Conesville as a little one and met my best friend, now of almost 25 years! Hands down the best staff I have ever met! They make me feel like family, as soon as I walk in the doors. They take the time to know every single child in their school.
Conesville Elementary will always have my heart.
-Tiffany HowellThis Black Bear family is busy kicking cancer’s butt! The support our RV family gives to each other in rough times is just amazing!
