Stewardship. It means every dollar counts.
Thank you to all our mission partners!
Your generosity will help to change lives. Not least of which will be mine.
Christ in the City works with some of the most vulnerable people in the Western World, and they understand the difference between "want" and "need." Every dollar is put to work.
The money I raise covers my living expenses, allowing funds designated for the homeless through CITC to go entirely to the homeless.
Missionaries live in dormitory-style housing, and our food is supplied by donation to keep costs minimal. The majority of funds go toward training to well-equip missionaries, and then for resources to support services, such as weekly lunches and 1 to 1's.
Every dollar directly serves the mission of CITC; every dollar counts.
Beginning this fundraising endeavor was daunting. I have never taken on a project of this scale, and I did not know how it would all come together. Thanks be to God and to all the generous people who have helped us to get so far, so fast.
To my great surprise, the vast majority of donations have come from individual generosity. Many people have blessed this mission with large donations of over $200.
Moreover, those who were willing and able to donate on a smaller scale have already contributed hundreds of dollars collectively towards this goal.
So, how can you help? In the best way you feel able! Donations can be made either one-time or on a recurring basis. Every single dollar makes an impact on me and on the CITC mission. No donation is overlooked. Each donation and all your prayers are gratefully and lovingly received.
