Types of Assignments, Tests, Quizzes, Discussions

• There are multiple assignments due weekly which are usually worth 10 points each. Some weeks I will create a “Putting it All Together” exercise using concepts learned throughout the week. Points are deducted for late submissions and for work not completed per instructions.

• Two exams with approximately 25 to 30 questions worth 1 to 2 points each.

• Weekly discussion forums worth 15 points each.

• A 5-point weekly check-in assignment letting me know how you are doing. It is mandatory as I want to make sure that we maintain contact.

• A final exam worth approximately 100 points.

• Every couple of weeks you will take short quizzes usually worth 10 points.

• There are two MLA papers. Completion of both are required to pass this course.

  • First paper - Computer Purchase worth 100 points

  • Final Presentation and Research Paper worth 150 points
